It’s Monday morning and I just got home from walking the dogs.
I came upstairs to start to gather laundry.
I couldn’t help but notice this striking contrast…
Here we have Exhibit A: My daughter’s room.
Bed made.
Clothes put away.
Room looks neat & tidy.
Here we have Exhibit B: My son’s room.
{Sigh}
Yeah.
A room only a mother could love.

This is so funny!
My husband and I are complete neat freaks and our son is a slob! I am forever folding his clothes, underwear etc and putting it all neatly in his dresser. This lasts one day …he just can't neatly take out a shirt or pair of shorts without messing up the whole pile! I've learned to not get upset over it since one day he'll be gone to school and I will miss picking up after him…I'm sure you feel the same way!
Your daughter has real style…Audrey Hepburn!! I'm impressed!

Oh, what is it with boys! I do think we should blame ourselves though..they have us wrapped around their little fingers! But Pamela is right, we will miss them when they've moved on!
I love your daughter's room and all the vanity mirrors on her wall!

In our home it was the boy's room that was tidy, my daughter's was a disaster!
Now she's so neat and tidy her apartment could be in a magazine!

LOL! Seriously what is it with boys? I agree with Shel, I know my bothers had my mother wrapped around their little fingers. Your daughters room is classic, love it!

Oh my word, you are hilarious! That is exactly how it goes at my house.I always tell my son that his future wife will never forgive for what I have let him get away with!
Grace @ Sense and Simplicity says
That is too funny, especially because we have had much the same scenario in our house for many years. Recently our 16 year old decluttered his room and now it is pretty much a monk's cell, so it stays clean.

So typical….and so funny! Having a grown daughter and two grown sons, I can totally relate!

Bawahahaha, omg my kids rooms are the exact same! I can barely walk in my sons room w/o stepping on all his crap, but my daughter's room is always so organized and tidy.
