Hello friends! Are you ready for the second installment of the Outdoor Extravaganza this week? This week’s theme is outdoor decor and entertaining and I am sharing our front porch. With the exception of Christmas, one of my very favourite spaces to decorate is our front porch for summer. I adore an attractive front porch with lots of flowers and personality. Each year I try to make it look slightly different than the previous season. Two years ago, I chose yellow as the pop of colour, while last year, you may remember that I found these fabulous chairs. Our front porch is favourite hangout for reading a book or sipping drinks in some cool shade and I love for it to feel relaxing and pretty. This year, I chose pink as a colour story to make our front porch feel fresh & fun!
When I saw these pretty floral pillows, I just had to have them. They are so lovely and perfect for a pretty summer space. They also work perfectly with the existing chair cushions and small rug I found early in the spring at Target that brings some soft green and pink to the area.
The painted bucket planters from a few years ago got a fresh new coat of paint this year…pink. I was inspired by the gorgeous mini-roses I found at a local garden center, along with some white alyssum.
These planters greet every visitor to our home, which is why I try to choose flowers that will bloom all summer.
A few more touches of pink on the side table makes a pretty vignette.
Our front porch becomes an extra room in the summer where we enjoy spending time soaking in the the beautiful weather and sunsets.
I am so in love with these little rose bushes. They add a romantic and pretty touch!

The pink is a fun and fresh colour! Looks great. I am seeing more pink and coral on front porches in our neighbourhood this year.
