My kids have been home on Christmas vacation this week, so when I am not busy with them, I have been putting away Christmas and freshening up vignettes around the house and front door.
Just replacing the reds & greens with greenery and pine cones…
Very simple…but I love playing with my house!
I could not put Mr. Owl away….I just love him too much!
I adore books in any room,..in any home.
Some of the new decor books I got for Christmas…
Beautiful bright sunshine in the middle of the day….
I hope you all have had a wonderful week!
I hope to get back to more of a regular blogging schedule next week.
And I have some fun things to share!

I do envy everyone that has put Christmas away, Angie, but I have been so traditional in going until January 6th, that mine is still up. It is coming down tomorrow though. I just got new totes tonight so I'm raring to go in the a.m.! I'm going to leave my faux greenery in the urn outside our front door with the sled. I think it works for Winter in general, plus it would just be empty otherwise!

I just took down my Christmas tree today. I only had a few other things out for Christmas this year so it was quick. I do need to take down my wreath tomorrow though.
I love your wreath, very pretty. Your home looks all fresh for winter. Nice!

I never know how to decorate for winter without it feeling too Christmasish but you achieved it perfectly. I love how you used the pinecones!

Great decorating as usual Angie. Now I wish I hadn't put my pine cones away. I just may have to dig them back out. Happy Blogging.

Hello new blog friend!
Thanks for the sweet comment, but you are the one with the fabulous house. I love the pinecone wreath and your photography is really, really wonderful!

Love the pine cones! There are a few things I am leaving up for a while yet – poinsettias in white, pine cones, crochet snowflakes in the china cabinet. It all speaks to winter and we still have a few weeks of that left, right?? (:
