So, as part of cookie week, I think that it’s time for a little chocolate, don’t you?
Hello *Chocolate Dream Cookie*
You are so good and smell heavenly.
You are Santa’s favourite cookie!
You are a chocolate lovely with holiday M&M’s mixed in!
Here is the recipe to make your own:
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teapsoon salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1pkg. holiday M&M’s
Directions:
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
Beat butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy.
Beat in eggs for 2 minutes or until light & fluffy.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in holiday M&M’s.
Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees or until cookies are puffed.
Cook on baking sheets for 2 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
And if you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know that last year I dressed up these cookies for Christmas with drizzled white chocolate and crushed candy canes for a very pretty look.
{If you do this recipe version, you can replace the M&M’s with 2 cups of chocolate chips.}
And to everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow,
I wish you a wonderful day and a beautiful celebration!
xo

I do believe she thought that you needed some chocolate too!!
