I was able to finish off a little more decor for Fall at our house.
Over the years, I have discovered a few things about my decorating style.
Creating tablescapes are my favourite to add to our home for seasonal changes.
I don’t like hanging or pinning things up…I just like thing making horizontal surfaces beautiful.
I love to use things like vases, old books, prints, candles or greenery.
For this tablescape I used things that I already had.
The plate is a piece from my Grandmother’s china… called “Buttercup” by Spode.
{Interestingly, I spied some of this china pattern on the table at Sarah Richardson’s Farmhouse.}
And the old Schwartz peanut butter jar with buttons? It came from my Grandmother’s house too.
I am sooo sentimental. Always have been. Always will be.
Some of you have left comments that I have inspired you to decorate for Fall!
Thank you so much…that is the biggest compliment to me!
For me, Blogging is completely about sharing & inspiring.
Did you know that I try to reply to every comment or visit every blog of my visitors?
{Although last week there were some glitches with the commenting issues}
Did you know that some of you have the ‘no reply’ email option turned on with blogger?
That means when you ask a questions, sadly, I cannot reply.
If you think it could be you, you may want to check into that.
Otherwise, you might think I am quite rude for not getting back to you!
Thank you for reading & have a wonderful Monday!

Love your wreath on the mirror, Angie! That's a great idea especially when working with a smaller space. As you know, we are downsizing, so I will have to remember tricks like this.

I also love the wreath on the mirror.
In my house everything needs a purpose to be justified, almost, by my husband – not me.
So, if I hung a wreath like that, hubby would say "I can't see anything in the mirror".
I really want to do a table scape now.
Hmmm…. what and where?
Have a great day!

I find your blog, one of the most inspiring that I read! I credit some of that to you being Canadian, and I always spot things I know I can pick up….usually from Superstore/Loblaws….which is EXTRA inspiring…LOL! Plus…a lot of your ideas/techniques, seem…do-able. Not all blogs I read are like that. Also…I can attest that any time I leave a comment…I get a lovely email response from you. Not necessary…but a nice touch. 🙂 Have a great day!

The give thanks blocks are a great idea..hmmm..I'm going to have to work out how to make some French ones (we don't have thanksgiving over here!). I love that you take the time to reply to comments 🙂

Oh I just love everything you do. I've been following your blog for a while now, and never did leave a comment, but you are so sweet about it I just had to tell you how much I love your blog and your ideas!
I wish I could decorate like that, it's so inspiring, unfortunately we leave in a small, old, rented apartment, so it's a bit hard…
🙂

Of course, it looks just fab, Angie! More yummy inspiration. Can always count on you ;o) The wreath is gorgeous. I'm curious, though, what's in the jar. I can't make it out.
Glad you commented on the "no reply" thing. I try to reply to comments as much as possible, especially to new visitors to my blog, and it always makes me almost a little sad when I can't respond because of "no reply". Maybe all us bloggers should try to mention that from time to time to remind people to attach an email address to their profiles for return replies.

Hi, Angie! I'm with you…do NOT like all the hanging and draping and all that stuff. MUCH prefer the horizontal decorating! I don't have Blogger. I'm on WordPress. I'm not sure what I have to do to be sure people can write back to me. Some people have sent notes to my email, and some just write me back via my blog. If I check the little box below that says, "Email follow-up comments to table21tablescapes@gmail.com", will I get EVERY comment that EVERYONE makes after mine or will I just get anything you might send. I'm going to not check it this time, but could you please email me at the address above to let me know if I was a "no reply" or not. I love to be able to exchange back & forth, but I'm not sure just how all this works if you're on Blogger and I'm on WordPress. Thanks! (Ive been blogging for a year. You'd THINK I would know all this stuff by now!)

I would love to know what your wall color is. Would you happen to know? I have been painting small squares in my family room trying to find just the right one. I love the way yours looks!
