So as part of my 6 week blog break, I had fun spring cleaning and freshening up some things around the house.
I happened to be in Homesense looking for nothing in particular…just browsing around…..when I spotted this really fun mirror for only $29.99.
{Can I say it again…that darn Homesense!}
I fell in love with it’s shape and it’s crisp white look.
I decided to bring it home with me and try it above the piano.
I also added Mr. Owl vase. I love the pop of white for summer.
This is how the ‘Mantle’ looked after Valentine’s Day.
And here’s how it looks now:
The brown round mirror has gone on vacation to the stairwell for the “Project Stairwell” makeover…which is coming soon!

I'm a big Home Sense fan too! At least we have one good store in Canada that they don't have in the States! Love your mirror – I am a big fan of Mrs. White!
I want that owl, gorgeous!! I tidied my bookshelves yesterday (you inspired me..now I just have to spend three hours putting away the interesting things I found on the shelves, like a torch and leftover Easter egg!
I like both, Angie, but I think I'd stick with the white for the Summer. Great price for that mirror! It does go well in that spot with the white owl and the lamps.
Love the mirror but seriously LOVE the owl vase. Owls have been my "thing" for the past year. Can't wait to see the stairway.

I love the white…mostly because it's spring…and looks great. If you posted this again in the fall, I would probably say…go with the brown. 🙂
