I have been busy these past 2 days decorating our home for Fall.
Yesterday I was not very happy with myself as the fall decoration storage totes were on the bottom of the pile under all the Christmas storage totes.
I mean, seriously, who does that to themselves?
I was sweating by the time I was done fishing out the 2 totes that I needed!
***
This year I chose a colour theme of white, yellow & orange to decorate & freshen things up with….less brown and black over last year.
I only spent $15 in a few new flower stems from Michaels.
{Did you know that flower stems are 50% off this week? Great deal.}
Of course I started with the piano-tel.
This is my very favourite area to decorate!
The quote in the frame is a free printable from Mrs. Brooklyn Limestone blog.
The vase that holds the branches is a spray paint project you can read about here.
I could put one in every room & never get tired of looking at the same gorgeous shape.
The quote in the frame below is a free printable from Becky Higgins’ blog.
I think it is such an apropriate quote for fall. {I love Jane Austen}.
For the coffee tablescape…I picked up the pinecones while out walking with the dogs and everything else I already had.
Here is how the living room looks.
{The more I look at this, the more I want to paint my coffee table white. What do you think?}
And I made this little vignette this morning on our dining table.
It is a little farmhouse table-ish…with apple-shaped salt & pepper shakers and napkins.
The apples are from our own little tree and they taste so good!
I just picked up the flowers stems at Michaels this morning.
Have you decorated for Fall yet?
Here in Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving on October 10th this year, which makes it far too early for us to decorate for Halloween.
What is your favourite look for Fall this year?
Did you buy anything new, or use what you had already?

Thank you so much for visiting me!!

It looks so pretty and heart-warming… I would love to visit Canada again. For some reason, I just really like it there… we lived in North Dakota for three years and visited a few times… I suppose I am just trying to say that I think it is so neat that you live there. 🙂
My husband was just around Saskatoon fishing two weeks ago… I so wanted to go with him, but I don't think other men would have welcomed me as much as he would have. 🙂
Enjoy your fall before it gets too cold, and thank you for sharing!

I love it the way it is but if you are feeling it do it!

Lovely. I actually like the warmth of the living room with the coffee table like that…perhaps if you have a small white table in another room of the house you can bring it there to try it out and if you like the way the white looks there you paint it!
I'm sure it'll look great whichever way you decide to go.

You are so energetic! My decorating for fall means pulling out the garden and digging the beds. Hanging some herbs to dry. I must look around for some other stuff which I am sure I have somewhere.

Your fall decor looks great! So worth moving all the Christmas totes to get at it! I like vases of branches too and the way you've displayed yours with the floral stems is wonderful. I managed to get at my decorating yesterday but now need to take some pics. Can't believe we will be celebrating Thanksgiving in just over 3 weeks!

Hey Angie. Fabulous Fall! I've been waiting for you to share some fallish inspiration with us. I'm having a hard time getting my fall groove on! I started a little the other day, but still having a hard time. Guess I don't want to let go of summer just yet.
Thanks for sharing! I'm going to use some of your inspiration to get going some more on it today.
Have a great weekend!

You decorating is so pretty- simple elegance- not over done which is what I have the tendency to do so much of the time.
I love your owl. My MIL had owls for years and I thought them so ugly- I am thinking that it was because she had too many around. This lone white owl is just so cute! I think I might have to find one!

Hello Angie…your house is so warm and inviting. The decorations add to the coziness.
I wouldn't be a good one to ask about painting the table, because 99% of my decor is in white.
Your blog is very sweet.

Simple elegance mix of store bought flowers, found seasonal objects, and beloved family items found around your home. Pretty
I don't "do" Halloween so I just decorate for Autumn which goes up this week until end of Nov.

Wow! I love that room! The colors are so warm and it makes the room really cozy and inviting. I love that white mirror and the side table vignette. I also didn't know that Thanksgiving was celebrated so mcuh earlier in Canada than in America. I like learning new things about different countries though. =)

Angie I adore your Autumn decor! It is a nice crisp look.
I am thinking maybe a wonderful rug in the living room, instead of painting the coffee table!
