1 cup nonfat dry milk powder {I used Carnation brand}
1 cup powdered non-dairy creamer {coffee whitener. I used Western Family brand, a low cost brand available in Western Canada.}
1 cup French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer {I used Coffeemate Brand}
2 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups unsweetened instant tea {not iced tea mix. I used a British import brand called Typhoo}
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon allspice
Directions: Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process until it becomes a fine powder. Pour into a large jar or several smaller jars. This recipes makes 36 servings/ 100 calories per serving. This mix can be used for hot or cold drinks. Add 2 heaping tablespoons to 1 cup of water for hot drinks, or water or milk for cold drinks. Stir well.
{**Note: I had a heck of time finding instant tea granules for this recipe. If you live in the US, instant tea can be found at Amazon.com. In Canada, after checking several grocery stores including Superstore, Save On Foods, Safeway, Sobeys and Zellers, I found instant tea at a British import foods store.}
{If there is anyone out there who would like to work with me on creating tags for my projects in printable form so I could share with my readers, please let me know! I would be happy to link to your blog!}And a little flower was added for that touch of pretty.

Sounds delicious, Angie! I don't buy these drinks often, but when I do I consider them a treat. I'm sure the calories can be as high as the prices!

I'm looking forward to more of these recipes!
I think I may be able to help you with getting your tags into a printable format! Send me an email and we can talk!

This looks so yummy and your presentation is fantastic and so pretty!! Question: Is instant tea the same as the powdered iced tea mixes you can buy? I'm invited to a luncheon on Friday and I'm thinking of making these and giving them as gifts!
Lauren @ My Wonderfully Made says
Oops — I see you said you CAN'T use the iced tea mix! Okay — well I'll have to do some research and see what I can find around here.

That sounds delicious! I doubt I'd be able to find instant tea around here but next time I'm in the city I'll look for it.

I used Lipton instant tea, unsweetened(USA)
there seems to be a typo for directions, at the top before ingredients you say you mix it with 2 TEASPOONS with one cup milk, but under directions it says 2 TABLESPOONS, just need to clarify please:)

I've used this recipe for quite a while now but instead of cloves, I use nutmeg. This is my husband's favorite hot tea. Can't wait to try it cold.
