Chili. It’s the quintessential warm and flavourful winter dish, don’t you think?
We love chili at our house and it’s a dish we make at least twice a month. With a busy family, I love that it’s something that can be made and then re-heated easily in case someone arrives home late.
Served with rolls and a salad, it makes a wonderful meal anytime during the week or even for casual entertaining.
Often when we make chili, we think of it as a dish that we make ahead in a pot or slow cooker and it simmers for a few hours.
But what if the day is super busy, and you don’t have time to get out the slow cooker or pot to make ahead and let it simmer?
What if you arrive home after a busy day and you need something in a hurry?
I am so excited to share with you this recipe for easy skillet chili that can be ready in as a little as 30 minutes.
That’s right! I said 30 minutes!
These are all the ingredients needed to make an easy skillet chili!
Behold the skillet sauces brought to you by McCormick’s Club House brand.

I chose to use the Chili Skillet Sauce for our dinner and it was delicious!
Everyone in our family loved the bold flavour that it added to the chili, and I loved how easy it was to make…no simmering for hours!
This is all the ingredients needed for the chili. Tomato sauce, kidney beans, ground beef and a pouch of Skillet Sauce. I simply cooked the ground beef first, then added the tomato sauce, kidney beans and skillet sauce. The dark brown liquid in the sauce pan is the Chili Skillet Sauce and it smelled wonderful and fragrant. {It is also gluten free!}
Here is the chili made to recipe and ready to serve in 20 minutes! It is delicious!
If you are like me, I always like to add veggies to dishes whenever I can, so this time when I made the chili, I added some sliced vegetables such as mushrooms, onion, red pepper and green pepper. Adding vegetables is optional of course…just make whatever suits your own tastes!
And if desired, top your chili with sour cream and green onion or chives!
With McCormick’s Club House Skillet Sauces, you can have fast and flavourful meals on the table in under 30 minutes. And as a busy mom, having meals on the table fast is something that I really appreciate!

My quick and easy dish is so simple its crazy. My mom used to make this for us when we were kids. All you need is a can of vegetable soup and ground beef. Throw the soup in a pot add the ground beef and let it simmer until its done. I usually skim off any extra fat and then serve it over potatoes, rice or even toast!
