Today was the “switch out” day.
I put away the Thanksgiving things and got out our Halloween things.
A month ago I decorated for Thanksgiving. Here is what the coffee table looked like then:
And here is what it looks like now:
I love trays.
They can make a display of items look so interesting.
This tray was a Goodwill find about 2 years ago. It cost me $7.99
I also adore displays of apothecary jars.
{I have seen so many wonderful ideas in blogland with apothecary jars.}
The two tall apothecary jars are from Walmart about 3 years ago.
The three smaller vases are from Dollarama.
This morning I hit Walmart really early to buy up a supply of rats, eyeballs, skulls and bones.
Yummy.
These gummy worms are the only edible in this collection.
I had to have at least one real treat.
The stickers are from the Martha Stewart Collection at Michaels.
The entry table looked like this earlier today:
And here it is now~
The ghost was a gift from a friend last year.
The martini bar as it looked earlier:
And now:
Just a collection of things I already had.
Displayed differently than last year.
The framed Halloween picture came from Homesense {Homegoods} 3 years ago.
The piano all ready for Thanksgiving~
And now ready for Halloween.
The tin house came from Homesense a few years ago.
The “BOO” and the pumpkin are from the grocery store about 4 years ago.
And finally the little table in the corner of the living room was changed out from this:
To this:

The “Spooky” candle holder was a Homesense find.
And new this year~ Mr. Owl.
Love him for his sparkle.
And one last shot before I head to bed for the night.
Thanks so much for letting me share my ‘project of the day’ with you.

You do an outstanding job with your vignettes – very impressive. It isn't easy to get the balance of objects in terms of height and colour, but yours look fantastic.
Everything looks fantastic! Your vignettes are beautiful. I especially like your "candy" buffet :). So cute. Thanks for linking up!
