For this activity, you will need:
White paper plates {2 per picture}.
Blue paint to paint the ‘sea’.
White school glue.
Paint Brushes.
Sand or graham crackers crumbs to make the ‘seabed’.
Assorted foam sea creatures & seashells to make the picture. {I got mine from the dollar store}
String & a hole punch to hang the collage.
Directions:
Paint the bottom third of paper plate with glue, as shown.
Sprinkle sand or graham cracker crumbs to make seabed.
Paint the rest of the paper plate blue to ‘make’ ocean as shown. Let dry for a few minutes.
Glue seashells and sea creatures to ‘seabed’ and ‘water’ to make a beach picture.
Cut out the middle part of the 2nd paper plate, as shown.
Glue 2nd paper plate on top of beachy picture to make frame.
Punch hole in top of picture frame and insert string to hang the beach collage.

Having taught Kindergarten I know my way around a paper plate craft (they're so versatile!) but I've never doubled them up to create a frame before. Clever!
