Hi there!
With just a few short weeks ’til Christmas, I thought I would do a roundup of all the projects I have made in my very own kitchen to share with you.
I seldom buy gifts for friends and neighbours as I usually make something from the kitchen to share.
I love homemade and I am always so touched when I receive a homemade gift.
I have forever been inspired by my Mother, Sandra…and her family.
My mother, to me, outdoes Martha Stewart any day of the week!
{And she does not have a boatload of assistants, or professionals to do it for her!}
For years my mother has made homemade gifts for her 5 brothers & sisters and friends for Christmas.
She always gave homemade baking, or she would tramp around in the woods, cutting boughs of greenery to bring home to make fresh Christmas centerpieces for everyone!
My Uncle Derrick has traditionally given us his delicious homemade carrot cake every year.
And my dear Aunt Janet was famous for her Nanaimo Bars.
And my Aunt Nannette always has some delicious recipe on the go! Her peanut brittle recipe is easy & so yummy!
And I know we are not the only family who show our love with gifts from the kitchen….there are thousands of home cooks out there who do the same!

Such great ideas, Angie! Your packaging really makes them all look special! I did fudge the other day ~ I was very proud of myself because I'm not really a good cook or baker, but this seemed easy enough for even me to do. I used round tins I found at Walgreens for them to set up in and as their Christmas packaging as well.

They all look beautiful Angie! What a bust bee you have been! I love all of the details on the packaging. Hope you are enjoying all of your December traditions!

I'm pretending I'm your neighbor and fantasizing about which gift I would like.
Tough choice, but either the Strawberry Butter, Peppermint Foot Salt or the Gourmet Oatmeal Cookies???
They all look fantastic.
My neighbors are not as lucky, they don't get anything at all. Perhaps I'll change that this year and be more American? Yeah, I really should.
I'll start small.
One neighbor.
Remember this and hold me to it, will you Angie?

Great ideas, Angie! I loved your reindeer cookies you posted about a while back. My kids and I made them about a week or so ago…we had so much fun.
I'm having problems with my blog header appearing blurry. It looks fine in Picasa but then comes across blurry in blogger. Did you have this problem a loooong time ago? Or am I thinking of someone else? And if it was you – do you remember the fix?
Anyway! Thank you, Angie.
